Off-Season Opportunities

Each off-season FGFA offers up affordable training clinics put on by area coaches that are skilled in particular parts of the game.  This page will be updated as we begin laying out the clinic days and times.  These are good ways to keep the girls swinging the bats, throwing the ball, and improving their skills. Off-season clinics are open to current and incoming FGFA players. Players who have not yet played with FGFA must contact Sara Fenske to sign a waiver.

If registration has opened and you are having trouble registering try these things:
-Refresh your computer or phone if the orange registration bar is not active.
-Log out of sports engine and then back into it.
-Use and incognito window.

If registration is full,  and you would like to be on our waiting list please email FGFAcommunications@gmail.com

OPEN GYM

Open gym opportunities are held through out the winter for FGFA girls. Get in some extra swings, toss the ball around or practice pitching. Check out the calendar for opportunities. We will see you at the gym!

OFFSEASON DOME OPPORTUNITIES

Every offseason more and more indoor dome softball options come available to players wanting to play softball during the offseason.  Below are just a few of the tournaments and leagues to keep an eye out for if you are interested in playing:

Turkey Trot Tournament, usually held Thanksgiving Weekend at the Irish Dome in Rosemount
*Winter Extravaganza, usually held during the Holiday Break at the Irish Dome in Rosemount and Star Dome in Richfield
*MLK Tournament, usually held on Martin Luther King Day, at the dome in Vadnais Heights

Coaches, if your team is formed, and wants to play, you can enter in to these tournaments (cost is the responsibility of the team/families).  Please partner with other FGFA teams if two teams want to play, but don't have enough players.

Players/Parents, if your team is not formed, you can still organize a team (again the cost is the responsibility of the players/families).  If you don't have enough to organize a team, there will also be options to join with a training organization such as S&C Sports or MFA.  As we get more details, we'll post them on this site.
