We are currently accepting applications for 2023. The scholarship will be awarded to two former or current FGFA members who embody the core values of leadership and community service. FGFA will award two 2023 graduating seniors scholarships of $1500 each! This is an annual scholarship that will be awarded yearly.

Name: Morgan Woldt

Grad Year: 2023

Accomplishments: Morgan served as the Treasurer for the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America for two years. During this time she participated in ringing bells for the Salvation Army, bagging groceries for to raise funds to purcase blanks for a local women's shelter and trick-or-treated for change for UNICEF.

Morgan has also supported the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Breast Cancer Ride and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Farmington. Morgan was on the the Math Team for one year, played FGFA Softball for 4 years and continued playing softball at the Club and High School level where she was Co-Captain her Senior year.

Morgan is a hard worker who also like to have fun as a further way to support those around her. Congratulations Morgan. We are so excited to provide this scholarship for you.

Name: Hailey Hansen

Grad Year: 2023

Accomplishments: Hailey Hansen played FGFA softball for  years and has played softball for 10 years. Hailey says that "being a student athlete can be very hard and challenging at times, the bonds you make with teammates and coaches is unbreakable and you will remember for the rest of your life." Hailey believes her experience being a leader has molded her for the better.

Through sports she has participated in community service including volunteering at the nursing home and animal shelter,  Feed My Starving Children and more.  She believes these small acts of kindness really make a difference the people lives that she is serving and we could not agree more.
